Limescale remover, 1 l

The limescale remover can be used effectively wherever severe calcification occurs, on fittings, tiles, toilets, cooking pots, coffee machines, washing machines, etc.

Application / Dosage:
Application undiluted: For fittings, tiles, toilets - where the limescale remover cannot be heated - let it work for a few minutes, depending on the limescale layer, then rinse thoroughly with clear water.
Application diluted: In cooking pots and for machine decalcification - where the acid can be heated and is therefore more effective.

Water boiler: Heat approx. 100 ml per 0.5 litres of water to approx. 60 °C, allow to act for 20 to 30 min. and rinse well.

Coffee machine: Add 200 ml limescale remover and 800 ml water to the water reservoir of the coffee machine. Descale according to the machine's instructions for use. A subsequent pass through with clear water is absolutely necessary - until the water is clear.

4.5 kg washing machine: Add 1 litre of limescale remover to the 60 °C main wash cycle without laundry. Run the wash cycle and clean the lint filter.

Dishwasher: Add 1 litre of limescale remover to the main wash cycle of the longest rinse cycle (after pre-rinse!) - without or with dishes. Run the programme to the end.

Origin and properties of the ingredients:
The raw material for the extraction of citric acid are the by-products from the sugar industry such as molasses. In the decalcification process, citric acid acts in its general capacity as an acid on the precipitated limestone and dissolves it again with the formation of carbon dioxide.

Citric acid is more suitable than other acids for versatile decalcification in the kitchen and sanitary area due to its quality as a food ingredient, due to its restrained odour and due to its gentle effect on metals and plastics.
