Three long-time, experienced pioneers of the raw food movement have critically reviewed their diet in the light of recent scientific findings. As they had to discover through their own experience, it contributes to more balance if the raw food is occasionally supplemented by some cooked or steamed food. For example, potatoes, pulses or broccoli can also be enjoyed.
Special attention is paid in this book to the intake of the essential omega-3 fatty acid, which is quite decisive for our physical, but also mental well-being. A table shows which foods contain omega-3. The book contains 100 recipes, mostly raw and some cooked, as well as for new "green smoothies" rich in omega-3.
