The experienced yoga expert and mother Isabel Schilpp presents two programmes in a DVD box set that are a real benefit for the mother-to-be and her baby. Together with Thea Raubinger and Ann-Kristin Höft, she shows how pregnancy can be relaxed but still active through stretching and conscious relaxation and breathing exercises.
The two yoga programmes help the pregnant woman to do this:
- strengthen the body and prepare optimally for the birth.
- Find peace, stability and balance.
- to promote the natural birth process through specific breathing exercises.
- to relax the back.
- to strengthen the connection to the child. To carry out the programme, in addition to a yoga mat and a blanket several yoga
- cushions (alternatively: stable pillows), a chair as well as two yoga blocks (alternatively: two thick books) are needed. The aids support the pregnant woman to vary the exercises according to her daily form and yoga experience.
Suitable for every healthy pregnant woman
The flowing sequences of the yoga programmes are modified so that they can be easily learned and performed by any healthy pregnant woman. All movements should feel good, the breath should flow freely in the chest and abdomen. There is always the possibility to leave a position and change to an easier variation or to pause completely. Relaxed through pregnancy from the beginning to the birth - "Yoga for pregnant women" makes it individually possible!
