Audio CD set of the talks by Eckhart Tolle in Fürstenfeldbruck on 9 May 2004
In the gaps between words and thoughts is silence - more than that, thoughtless attention. This state is always there. We are awake, fully aware, attentive, without having to think. The reality is perceived without being named in thought.
Eckhart calls this in this lecture a "tremendous inner transformation of consciousness, the freedom from thoughts without falling into the unconscious". We use thoughts, but are no longer dominated by them.
