Mirabai Ceiba's 2015 album is called Sevati, which means both 'white rose' and 'still' in Sanskrit. With beautifully performed Sanskrit mantras, Spanish and English songs and traditional Indian chants, the CD explores the human experience of its relationship to the great unknown and the mystery of life and death.
Angelika and Markus have again teamed up with critically acclaimed music producer Jamshied Sharifi from New York. They experiment with new recording techniques and instrumentation to forge a unique blend of Southern American instruments, Celtic harp, electric guitars, youth choirs, a string quartet and even elements of electronic music.
