Yin yoga is fascia yoga and therefore the ideal method to keep our connective tissue supple, tone the figure and become pain-free.

In order to be able to stretch the fascia properly, however, the use of aids is essential, even for advanced practitioners. It is only with the help of pads, cushions, blocks and straps that we enable our body to completely release muscular tension - the prerequisite for effectively training fasciae.

The yoga teacher Sonja Zernick-Förster therefore attaches great importance to these aids in her yin yoga classes and shows in her new book in which variations beginners and advanced practitioners can use them for optimal fascia stretching.
