The second collection of asana cards again comprises 30 cards, each explaining a yoga posture and possible variations. The explanations include drawings, the Sanskrit name, the effects, the viewpoint (drishti), contraindications, chakras and tips for execution. In this way, all yogis and yoginis can benefit from the cards in a clear and condensed way. Beginners benefit from the combination of drawing and explanation when learning the asanas, advanced yogis & yoginis can improve their alignment and benefit from the additional information, and aspiring yoga teachers get easy access to possible instructions for a yoga class.
While the focus of Collection I is on basic asanas (almost exclusively level 1), Collection II also includes half of the postures of difficulty level 2 and thus builds on Collection I. The cards are available in German only. For yogis & yoginis who have been practising yoga for a while and are looking for new challenges, the second collection is ideally suited.
In addition to the 30 cards of Collection 2, this product also includes the beautiful storage box of the asana cards, which contains space for several card collections.
