Arolla pine, also called Swiss stone pine or Swiss stone pine, is an evergreen coniferous tree native to the Alps. The Swiss stone pine can grow up to 25 metres high and be 1000 years old. Its wood has an intense scent and is used as furniture wood and for carvings. Swiss stone pine is used in naturopathy for cold and muscle complaints and to improve indoor air.
