A refreshing toothpaste all natural sweetened with xylitol.
The toothpaste is without sodium saccharin, without fluorides, 100% vegan and without microplastics.
The Ayurvedic toothpaste with xylitol by Herbdent consists of various plant extracts and herbs that have always been used in natural dental care according to Ayurvedic tradition for their beneficial and soothing properties. Extracts of liquorice, amla and clove prevent inflammation, bleeding gums and caries-causing bacteria, soothe and strengthen sensitive gums and gently care for the entire oral cavity.
The xylitol used in the toothpaste is a natural substance extracted from birch trees. Xylitol has antimicrobial properties, maintains the acid-base balance in the mouth and thus inhibits bacterial growth. Gum problems are mainly caused by bacteria, the basis of which is acidic saliva. This is favoured by sweets, among other things.
Bacteria also contribute to the formation of plaque, the adherent film of saliva and food residues. This plaque, in turn, promotes the growth of bacteria and can thus promote gum irritation. Untreated plaque can harden at the gumline and develop into tartar.
Furthermore, xylitol stimulates the flow of saliva and thus promotes the production of the beneficial minerals found in saliva. Increased saliva production is especially important for people who suffer from dry mouth due to medication, age or illness

I also had problems with inflammation of the gums for a few years, which have now disappeared. The smell and taste are very Christmassy due to the clove, which I find positive. If I had discovered this product earlier, I would have fewer fillings now. 2-3 times a week, I also draw virgin organic coconut oil for 20 minutes, which additionally contributes to the health of my teeth and gums.
