Ylang-ylang is a tropical tree with intensely fragrant
whitish-yellow flowers, which is cultivated in Madagascar, Reunion and the Comoros
reunion and the Comoros. In its natural habitat, the ylang-ylang tree grows 10 - 30 m tall

The distillation of the blossoms takes up to 20 hours. Ylang-Ylang is an
important raw material for perfumery.
