Brother Anandamoy was born near Zurich. He came to the first came to the United States in 1948 and studied architecture with Frank Lloyd Wright. After reading the Autobiography of a Yogi he went to Los Angeles because he wanted to meet Paramahansa Yogananda he wanted to meet.
