Eine Matte = ein Baum

Für jede verkaufte YOGISTAR®-Yogamatte pflanzt YOGISTAR® einen Baum.

On his 14th release "Kirtan Wallah" - One Who Sings Kirtan - KD revisits his American roots of rock and country music, again deeply embodying the spirit of Indian chanting. There are some traditional songs that absolutely fit the atmosphere of an Indian temple, where his sonorous baritone vocals and harmonium set the tone. But at its heart, this album is a natural confluence of KD's musical currents, such as a bansuri flute making its way through acoustic guitar sounds and country swing, or tunes backed with tabla and kartals that could have come from the music of the Towns Van Zandt repertoire.

What is particularly remarkable is the way this connection flows naturally out of KD - not forced, and which, with the devotion flowing from his heart, playfully combines Bengali Kirtan and rock music, the Kumaon Hills and Nashville.
