"Arjuna", like the strong-hearted hero Arjuna of the most famous Indian epic "Mahabharat", symbolises strength, power and courage. The Arjuna tree is an impressive and up to 26 metres tall tree, native to large parts of India. Its bark has an unusual red colouring on the inside and powder extracted from the inner layer has particularly valuable ingredients.
Terminalia arjuna is called the "hawthorn" of Ayurveda. It is combined with a variety of famous Ayurvedic herbs and strengthens the sensitive Vata dosha.
