Shatavari - Asparagus racemosus - is a plant known as wild asparagus
Perennial plant up to 7 m high with white fragrant flowers from which red
white fragrant flowers from which red berry fruits develop,
with distinctive rhizomes and leaves that thicken like spines at the base
thicken like spines in the lower part. The following are used in Ayurvedic nutrition
the root and the fresh juice.
