With 3 mm (1/8") thickness, Jade's Travel mat is a perfect travel yoga mat. The Jade Travel is perfect for yogis on the move or for those who love closer contact with the ground. Cleaning:
For regular mat care and cleaning, we recommend wiping down the mat weekly with a damp cloth (water only). If you have a vigorous practice or do hot yoga for example, we recommend you do this after each use. NEVER put the mat in the washing machine or dryer or expose it to direct sunlight! We generally recommend not to use the mat outside or to let it dry. Sunlight or UV light damages the natural rubber and makes the surface porous and therefore slippery. Furthermore, we recommend that the mat is rolled up and not stored in an open place.
