Soap, sugar surfactant and fatty alcohol sulfate complement and reinforce each other in this liquid detergent. To make the soap, rapeseed oil/sunflower oil from controlled organic cultivation is saponified in a special saponification process, without external heat, using potassium hydroxide. Soap as a detergent substance combines in a unique way all the properties necessary for the washing process of wetting, dissolving and carrying dirt. The soap's effect is enhanced by sugar surfactant and fatty alcohol sulfate, which are obtained from the purely vegetable raw materials sugar, starch and coconut fat through chemical reactions with the help of acids. At the same time, this combination eliminates the disadvantage of soap, namely the formation of lime soap, which can settle on the laundry if the softener dosage is inaccurate. The alcohol, which is obtained by fermenting vegetable starch, serves to keep the detergent liquid and thus enables a high concentration of detergent substance. Sulfated castor oil, also known as Turkish red oil, is obtained by reacting the oil with sulfuric acid. It increases the grease-dissolving power of the detergent.
