Spirulina pellets consist of 100 % Arthrospira platensis algae. This miracle algae is one of the oldest living organisms on earth and is cultivated in fresh water under controlled conditions. It owes its shimmering, dark green colour to chlorophyll, a natural pigment produced by plants to convert absorbed light into energy in the process of photosynthesis.

Govinda obtains its spirulina pellets from strictly controlled organic aquaculture. The pure spirulina algae powder is then used to produce our pellets - naturally without any additives.

The spirulina pellets are packed inside. Have you ever held the jar up to the light? The beautiful, dark violet colour is created by the minimal amount of visible violet radiation that can and is allowed to penetrate the glass. In other words, the glass has very specific characteristic properties that filter out harmful visible radiation and only allow certain UV-A and infrared light waves to penetrate the glass. This keeps the products fresh for longer.
