Chyavanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic fruit puree that is surrounded by numerous legends. It is one of the most famous Ayurvedic recipes and was recorded over 2,000 years ago in the Charaka Samhita, an Ayurvedic classic that is still widely read today.
An essential ingredient of Chyavanprash is Amla (Latin: Emblica officinalis, German: Indian gooseberry), which is revered as a sacred fruit in India. Amla is the Ayurvedic superfood that is said to have a balancing effect on all three doshas.
This Chyavanprash from sustainable agriculture or wild growth is made especially for AMLA Natur GmbH from high-quality ingredients. It goes through all the stages of our quality management system and is tested for harmful substances by our German laboratory after arriving in Germany. The bottling in jars takes place in our Ayurveda factory in Drestedt.

- Preparation Take one to two teaspoons of puree daily with hot organic cow's milk (for Vata and Pitta constitutions) or ginger tea (for Kapha constitutions) for breakfast. Alternatively, you can also use Chyavanprash as a spread on bread or as an addition to muesli or warm cereal porridge.
