Ayurveda recommends rinsing the oral cavity in the morning with specially prepared mouth care oil – Gandusha – after cleaning the tongue and teeth. It is also referred to as "oil pulling." In this process, the oil is moved around in the mouth and pulled through the teeth. Afterwards, the oil is spat out. This process is said to strengthen the gums and teeth.
