- Preparation Place 80 g bulgur mixture in a pan. Add 200 ml boiling water, bring to the boil, cover with a lid. Simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and leave to infuse for 5 mins. Add oil or ghee to taste. Flavour with salt.
